Blog > New dance music project: Green Field Development

Instead of trying to produce many different styles of music under my own name, I am setting up a new project for my dance-oriented tracks. This new project will be called Green Field Development, or GFD for short.

Four of my earlier tracks have been moved to this new project: The Dark Room, Dry Ice, Oceanic Galaxy, and Bobsleigh. The four tracks form part of an album, which is likely to be called In the Field.

As a result of this new project, some additional projects have been cancelled.

  • Landscapes I, which originally included The Dark Room and Dry Ice, will not be released. The other tracks will be moved to a future album. This also means that Landscapes parts II and III will not appear.
  • Classic Case of Chaos, which was a dance-oriented project that I was working on, will not be completed. The plans for this album will be merged with In the Field.

Overall, this is good news. I would much rather focus on dance music under one name and compose non-dance music under my own name.

The tracks will be online soon, but if you want to hear them now, you can do so here: Green Field Development on last.fm.
