A World Beyond

A World Beyond is Ben's first album. After 10 years of composing numerous tracks, most of which were unfinished, this album was put together with a view to getting some of the tracks completed. Although musically ambitious in places, it lacks a coherent structure and is simplistic in instrumentation. Most of the tracks are piano-based.

In 2007 a new version was released with vastly improved instruments and greater development in most of the tracks. This is called Hidden in the Beyond. Circular Finale was not reworked for Hidden, and has not been re-released yet.

Despite the re-release, Ben prefers a small number of the tracks on A World Beyond, including The Sword and Meadow, due to the newer versions feeling somewhat overblown. Consequently, both albums can be heard online.
